Opportunity Description
We are seeking a reliable and professional external contractor to provide regular cleaning services for Leverhulme Community Hub. This opportunity is ideal for individuals or businesses in the South Harris area with experience of cleaning to a consistently high standard in a business environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks in designated areas of the building, including office, meeting room, launderette, event spaces, kitchen and toilet facilities.
- Ensure hygiene standards are met and maintained consistently.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with Hub policies.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, disposable towels, hand soap, and sanitisers.
- Work during designated hours with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning services.
- Attention to detail and dedication to quality service.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules.
- Willingness to work flexibly where possible to ensure cleanliness of facilities prior to and following ad hoc Hub events
Details of Engagement
- Frequency: Twice weekly cleaning sessions.
- Duration: 4 hours each Monday plus 2 hours midweek on average.
- Provisions: all cleaning equipment and products will be supplied by the Hub.
- Payment: Competitive rates based on scope of work.
